ServiceMaster Restore of Fraser Valley has been servicing the Fraser Valley and surrounding areas, including Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, Maple Ridge, Langley and Hope, since 2002.  Throughout this time, we have helped thousands of  property owners get their property back to pre-loss condition. 

We have a full service emergency team to mitigate the loss caused by fire, water or wind damage and begin the restorative process.  Our technicians are fully trained to respond to any emergency or type of property damage.

Our emergency response team also includes our contents division.  When needed on a project, our contents technicians are ready to pack -out, clean and store your contents.  Our state-of-the -art cleaning facility can handle any size or type of loss.  Once clean and dry, yours contents can be stored in separate, secure storage pods in our heated warehouse. 

Our construction division completes the necessary repairs to the structure for restoration project.  Our construction division leader who  has been in the construction industry for 25 years.

President

Ed Dyck has been in the construction industry since 1980.  He began his career as a carpenter and quickly gained experience in all phases of construction.  In 1989, he started All City Construction, primarily building single-family homes throughout the Lower Mainland.

After completing several insurance restoration projects as a builder, Ed  purchased the Fraser Valley franchise in 2002.  In the first years, he managed most projects and even completed much of the emergency and repair work himself.

 Ed now focuses on the overall direction and development of the company.  He is certified in Water Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration and Applied Microbial Remediation.

Vice President of Operations

Dale Parberry has been in the construction industry since 1975.  He has built, renovated and developed projects of all sizes throughout the Lower Mainland, including single and multi-family housing, agricultural buildings as well as numerous commercial tenant improvements. 

Dale partnered with Ed Dyck in 1989 to start All City Construction and partnered with him again to purchase the ServiceMaster Restore franchise.  He has been actively involved in the franchise since the beginning, both in the field and managing projects. 

With his depth and range of experience, he is well suited in his role to oversee all operations. Dale is certified in Water Restoration.

Linda Dyck

Vice President of Finance

Linda has been involved with the franchise since the beginning. Over the years, she has fulfilled a variety of roles and has been a significant contributor to our operation and growth. With over 25 years of financial and business experience, she currently oversees the finance, accounting and human resource functions of the company.

Linda has an Associate Degree in Accounting as well as training in Symbility, Xactimate and Mobile Service Manager (MSM).

Alicia Jobb

Alicia began working as a Professional Accountant 12 years ago after obtaining her Chartered Accountant designation.  As Alicia took on new roles throughout her career, she gained experience in many different industries including real estate development and leasing, manufacturing, hedge funds, retail, hospitality and professional services.

Alicia is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the accounting and operational functions at ServiceMaster. She ensures operational efficiency with her strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree as well as an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Alicia acquired her Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Chartered Accountant School of Business.

Gord Frondall

Business Development

After a management career in the hospitality industry, Gord moved into restoration in 2006. He served for the first two years as a project manager, learning the ins and outs of the industry. He was then promoted to Operation Manager, Sales Manager, and eventually General Manager within the same company. He then moved to a larger company where he was tasked to lead a team of ten project managers. Gord joined ServiceMaster in 2021 and brings extensive management and industry experience to his role in business development.


Gord is certified as a Water Damage Restoration Technician, Health and Safety Technician, and First Aid Level 2. He has also earned a Restoration Management Certificate from Violand Management.

Human Resources Manager

Tim started in the construction industry in 1998 working for a builder in the agricultural sector while going to university. After completing his university degree he gained experience in employment counselling and then spent eight years in the insurance industry, furthering his skills in management, operational leadership, human resources and sales.

Tim is responsible for Human Resources at ServiceMaster, working to ensure we have a strong employee oriented company culture that emphasizes high performance, empowerment, quality and productivity.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from Trinity Western University.

Kurt Schidlo

Large Loss Division Manager

Raised in North Vancouver, BC Kurt began his career in the construction industry in 2001. He worked as as an apprentice carpenter for a custom home builder and all aspects of the industry (high rise, commercial, single and multi family, etc.) His vast experience in the carpenter trade include: concrete, framing, high end finishing, and lots of experiencing running crews and completing large builds from the ground up.

Kurt moved over to the restoration industry in 2012 working for a company as a Lead Carpenter. He quickly moved up through the ranks thanks to his ability to run multiple trades and troubleshoot on the fly. He was promoted to Site Supervisor in 2015 and then Project Manager in 2017 becoming the go-to person for large loss projects.

Kurt joined ServiceMaster in 2021 and works with the Project Managers on large losses.

Korky Neufeld

Construction Manager

Korky comes to ServiceMaster with 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked as a carpenter, Project Manager and foreman on numerous large construction projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

Korky also worked for a number of years on the Abbotsford Board of Education and served in ministry roles as an Associate Pastor and Lead Pastor.

Originally from England, Tom came to Canada in 2007. After initially working in forming and framing for low-rise condominium projects, he moved into the restoration industry in 2008.

While on the tools, Tom gained a wide range of experience in both emergency services - fires, floods and bio-hazards - as well as drywall, painting and finish carpentry on repairs.

Tom came to work for ServiceMaster Restore in 2010 as a Project Manager. He is certified in Water Restoration and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oxford Brooks University.

Senior Project Manager

Having managed a branch for a major international glass provider for many years, Pete brought this experience over to a large restoration company in 2007 where he managed a team that mirrored his customer-first approach to the business, accuracy and diligence in managing budgets and the coordination of stakeholders. Pete worked his way up to Director of Project Management overseeing eight Project Managers and two branches.

Pete specializes in large losses and fire and flood restoration; he has successfully and compassionately restored many homes during the catastrophic losses of the Calgary floods of 2013 and the Fort McMurray wildfires of 2016. His focus on efficiency allows him to complete projects quickly, allowing homeowners to get their lives back to normal.

Pete joined ServiceMaster in 2021 as a Senior Project Manager and is IICRC certified (WRT, FSRT, Xactimate Level 1).

Simon served five years in the Royal Canadian Air Force Reserves as an aircraft technician before moving into the lumber industry. In 2003, he began doing building maintenance for strata corporations, personally completing anything from drywall and painting to power washing and snow removal.

Simon eventually operated his own building maintenance company until he started in the restoration industry as a Project Manager in 2009. He joined ServiceMaster in the same role in 2013. Simon is certified in Water Restoration and Applied Microbial Remediation and has his Level 3 First Aid training.

After graduating from BCIT, Adam worked for two years as a power sport mechanic. In 2002, he moved into the construction industry, first in residential framing and later in cabinet making.

In 2005, Adam started as a carpenter within the restoration industry for a large contractor in the area. He was soon promoted to Lead Carpenter and eventually to Site Supervisor for the same contractor. In his three years as Site Supervisor, he was responsible for generating emergency and repair scopes as well as coordinating, scheduling and overseeing structual repairs on each project. He joined the ServiceMaster team in 2014.

Adam has earned his ticket of qualification for carpentry and is also certified in Water Damage and Xactimate Level 1.

Nancy Porter

Project Manager

Nancy began the first 14 years of her career in new home construction. She was responsible for the design, pricing and material for each project. She later worked in interior design for five years, managing projects from conception to completion for a regional design company.

Nancy began in the restoration industry in 1996 as a Project Manager. Since then, she has managed most every type of project, including significant experience within the property management industry.

Nancy joined our team in the same role in 2011. She is trained in Water Restoration, certified in Fire and Smoke and Mold Remediation as well as First Aid.

Prior to joining the ServiceMaster team, John worked as a Warehouse Manager in both the construction and manufacturing industries. In 2008, he joined ServiceMaster in Saskatchewan, starting as a technician and eventually managing emergency projects from start to finish. John moved to the Fraser Valley franchise in 2014 as a Lead Technician. Building upon his extensive knowledge and experience on the technical side, John shifted into the project management in 2017.

John is certified in Water Damage Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration, Odour Control and Applied Microbial Remediation.

Daniel has been in the restoration business for as long as he can remember. Having grown up immersed in the family business, he has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience. He began working full-time at ServiceMaster in 2008. Daniel has seen many different roles in his time here, from carpet cleaner to Lead Technician to developing and managing our in-house abatement department. Since the beginning of 2018, he has served as a Project Manager.

Daniel holds a Triple Master certification as a Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, Master Textile Restorer, as well as a certified AHERA building inspector. His technical expertise and procedural knowledge is regularly relied upon by the rest of the team at ServiceMaster.

Casey Constable

Project Manager

Casey worked in construction for four years before moving into the restoration industry in 2008. He completed drywall and painting on reconstruction projects before moving into an emergency demolition carpenter role. In 2010, Casey went on to pursue his trade certification in carpentry while apprenticing with a contractor who built custom homes and completed high-end renovations, both residential and commercial. He returned to the restoration industry in 2015 as a Site Supervisor, where he oversaw the production and completion of many concurrent projects. He was promoted to the role of Project Manager in 2017.

Casey completed his schooling at BCIT, earning his Red Seal endorsement as a journeyman carpenter. He is also certified in Water Damage Restoration and Xactimate Level 1.

Sean began his career with a local construction company where he learned numerous aspects of building and construction while on the tools. He then started a drywall company, specializing in steel stud, tenant improvements and multi-residential construction.

In 2017, after ten years of operating his own business, Sean moved into restoration. He started as a Project Coordinator and, after learning the intricacies of the industry, transitioned into project management in 2018.

Sean is trained in Water Damage, Fire Damage and Xactimate.

Derek joined ServiceMaster in 2019, bringing over 13 years of restoration and construction experience to the team. Before becoming a Project Manager, Derek gained extensive hands-on experience in water damage restoration, asbestos abatement, and mould remediation. 

Prior to entering the restoration industry, Derek served as a life and family counselor for nine years. His background in counselling uniquely equips him with the ability to provide attentive customer service through each aspect of a project.

Derek's training includes Water Damage Restoration, Health and Safety Technician training, Mould Identification and Assessment, and Moderate and High Right Asebestos Abatement.

Brent started his carpentry career in 2004, first in framing and then quickly learning all facets of the industry. In 2007, Brent started at another restoration company where he progressed into a Lead Carpenter position after attending BCIT's carpentry apprenticeship program.

In 2016, Brent started with ServiceMaster as a Site Supervisor, helping to oversee and coordinate all aspects of numerous restoration projects. With years of experience paired with his leadership skills, Brent moved into his project management role in 2020.

In addition to the carpentry program, Brent is also boom lift, scissor lift and Level 1 First Aid certified.

Jas Chugh

Project Manager

Jas is a third-generation construction professional with a background in business management. He began his career in India where he gained hands-on experience managing large government projects as well multi-unit private sector housing projects. He also worked as a licensed real estate broker in Dubai and has a thorough understanding of the sales and management of properties.

In 2020, Jas entered the restoration industry with ServiceMaster as a Project Manager. He holds a Bachelor's degree along with a postgraduate diploma in Business Management and is certified in water damage restoration.

Emergency Manager

Prior to joining the ServiceMaster Restore team in 2008, Norm worked for 20 years in door manufacturing and 11 years as a Production Supervisor with a lumber mill. Norm now serves as our Emergency Manager and is responsible for the scheduling and dispatching of our emergency services. He also looks after all equipment and material stock, as well as the maintenance of our fleet of service vehicles. 

Norm had his Industrial First Aid training and is also certified in Water Restoration.

Nicole St. Pierre

Lead Estimator

Nicole worked for 15 years in software project management, specifically developing safety management systems for the construction industry. She also operated her own renovation company for five years, gaining valuable experience in design, estimating and project management, as well as hands-on experience in multiple areas, including roofing, siding and painting.

Nicole has worked as an estimator within the restoration industry since 2012. She primarily utilizes Xactimate software and has earned her Level 1 and Level 2 certification. She is also certified in Odor Control Management, Advanced Confined Spaces and has Level 2 First Aid training.

Nicole joined ServiceMaster in 2011 and works with the Project Managers to complete job scopes and estimates in accordance with the insurer's guidelines.
