ServiceMaster Restore of Fraser Valley has been servicing the Fraser Valley and surrounding areas, including Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, Maple Ridge, Langley and Hope, since 2002.  Throughout this time, we have helped thousands of  property owners get their property back to pre-loss condition. 

We have a full service emergency team to mitigate the loss caused by fire, water or wind damage and begin the restorative process.  Our technicians are fully trained to respond to any emergency or type of property damage.

Our emergency response team also includes our contents division.  When needed on a project, our contents technicians are ready to pack -out, clean and store your contents.  Our state-of-the -art cleaning facility can handle any size or type of loss.  Once clean and dry, yours contents can be stored in separate, secure storage pods in our heated warehouse. 

Our construction division completes the necessary repairs to the structure for restoration project.  Our construction division leader who  has been in the construction industry for 25 years.

President

Ed Dyck has been in the construction industry since 1980.  He began his career as a carpenter and quickly gained experience in all phases of construction.  In 1989, he started All City Construction, primarily building single-family homes throughout the Lower Mainland.

After completing several insurance restoration projects as a builder, Ed  purchased the Fraser Valley franchise in 2002.  In the first years, he managed most projects and even completed much of the emergency and repair work himself.

 Ed now focuses on the overall direction and development of the company.  He is certified in Water Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration and Applied Microbial Remediation.

 

Dale Parberry

Dale Parberry has been in the construction industry since 1975.  He has built, renovated and developed projects of all sizes throughout the Lower Mainland, including single and multi-family housing, agricultural buildings as well as numerous commercial tenant improvements. 

Dale partnered with Ed Dyck in 1989 to start All City Construction and partnered with him again to purchase the ServiceMaster Restore franchise.  He has been actively involved in the franchise since the beginning, both in the field and managing projects. 

With his depth and range of experience, he is well suited in his role to oversee all operations. Dale is certified in Water Restoration.

Linda Dyck

Linda has been involved with the franchise since the beginning. Over the years, she has fulfilled a variety of roles and has been a significant contributor to our operation and growth. With over 25 years of financial and business experience, she currently oversees the finance, accounting and human resource functions of the company.

Linda has an Associate Degree in Accounting as well as training in Symbility, Xactimate and Mobile Service Manager (MSM).

Korky comes to ServiceMaster with 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked as a carpenter, Project Manager and foreman on numerous large construction projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

Korky also worked for a number of years on the Abbotsford Board of Education and served in ministry roles as an Associate Pastor and Lead Pastor.

Originally from England, Tom came to Canada in 2007. After initially working in forming and framing for low-rise condominium projects, he moved into the restoration industry in 2008.

While on the tools, Tom gained a wide range of experience in both emergency services - fires, floods and bio-hazards - as well as drywall, painting and finish carpentry on repairs.

Tom came to work for ServiceMaster Restore in 2010 as a Project Manager. He is certified in Water Restoration and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oxford Brooks University.

After graduating from BCIT, Adam worked two years as a powersport mechanic. In 2002, he moved into the construction industry – both residential framing, and cabinet-making. In 2005, Adam began his carpentry career in the restoration industry and was promoted to Lead Carpenter, onto Site Supervisor, earning his ticket of qualification for carpentry and certifications in Water Damage and Xactimate.

With 10 years of previous experience in the restoration industry, Adam joined ServiceMaster as a Project Manager in 2014. Adam established himself as a trusted leader in the industry, with a strong background in overseeing complex restoration projects. Adam has managed a wide range of large-loss restoration projects, including fire damage, water damage, and natural disasters; and has a high-level of expertise in commercial properties, industrial facilities, and multi-unit residential complexes.

Simon served five years in the Royal Canadian Air Force Reserves as an aircraft technician before moving into the lumber industry. In 2003, he began doing building maintenance for strata corporations, personally completing anything from drywall and painting to power washing and snow removal.

Simon eventually operated his own building maintenance company until he started in the restoration industry as a Project Manager in 2009. He joined ServiceMaster in the same role in 2013. Simon is certified in Water Restoration and Applied Microbial Remediation and has his Level 3 First Aid training.

Nancy began the first 14 years of her career in new home construction. She was responsible for the design, pricing and material for each project. She later worked in interior design for five years, managing projects from conception to completion for a regional design company.

Nancy began in the restoration industry in 1996 as a Project Manager. Since then, she has managed most every type of project, including significant experience within the property management industry.

Nancy joined our team in the same role in 2011. She is trained in Water Restoration, certified in Fire and Smoke and Mould Remediation as well as First Aid.

Prior to joining the ServiceMaster team, John worked as a Warehouse Manager in both the construction and manufacturing industries. In 2008, he joined ServiceMaster in Saskatchewan, starting as a technician and eventually managing emergency projects from start to finish. John moved to the Fraser Valley franchise in 2014 as a Lead Technician. Building upon his extensive knowledge and experience on the technical side, John shifted into the project management in 2017.

John is certified in Water Damage Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration, Odour Control and Applied Microbial Remediation.

Daniel has been in the restoration business for as long as he can remember. Having grown up immersed in the family business, he has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience. He began working full-time at ServiceMaster in 2008. Daniel has seen many different roles in his time here, from carpet cleaner to Lead Technician to developing and managing our in-house abatement department. Since the beginning of 2018, he has served as a Project Manager.

Daniel holds a Triple Master certification as a Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, Master Textile Restorer, as well as a certified AHERA building inspector. His technical expertise and procedural knowledge is regularly relied upon by the rest of the team at ServiceMaster.

Derek joined ServiceMaster in 2019, bringing over 13 years of restoration and construction experience to the team. Before becoming a Project Manager, Derek gained extensive hands-on experience in water damage restoration, asbestos abatement, and mould remediation. 

Prior to entering the restoration industry, Derek served as a life and family counselor for nine years. His background in counselling uniquely equips him with the ability to provide attentive customer service through each aspect of a project.

Derek's training includes Water Damage Restoration, Health and Safety Technician training, Mould Identification and Assessment, and Moderate and High Right Asebestos Abatement.

Brent began his carpentry career in 2003 framing residential homes. In 2008 he moved into the restoration industry as a lead carpenter for a well-known restoration contractor, where he learned many facets of insurance restoration; hands on experience with water extraction, demo, asbestos abatement, smoke remediation and all aspects of repairs.  
Brent joined the ServiceMaster team in 2017 as a site supervisor/ carpenter for one of our senior project managers. Responsibilities included scheduling trades, reviewing scopes and estimates as well as completing repairs on site.
Brent was promoted to project manager in 2020. Brent strives to use his ground up experience in restoration to provide a seamless claim from start to finish.

Matt is a highly skilled professional in restoration and project management. With a background in operations management and sales, he consistently delivers exceptional results across the board. Starting as an Estimator, Matt sharpened his skills in high-pressure environments, budgeting, delegation, site inspections, customer satisfaction, cost control, insurance restoration, construction estimating, team building, team leadership. Progressing through the ranks, Matt took on positions such as Senior Estimator, Site Supervisor, and currently serves as a Project Manager. In each role, Matt successfully managed complex restoration projects, ensuring quality outcomes within strict budgets and timelines. With an unwavering commitment to quality, Matt puts people first and consistently delivers successful results. His attention to detail, effective communication skills, and dedication to exceptional outcomes foster strong client relationships and project success.

Originally, Bill’s work background was in the printing trade for 8 years, followed by a flooring contractor specializing in the installation of carpet and hardwood flooring. He was given an opportunity to take this experience, into the world of restoration, and has not looked back. He  has been involved in the restoration industry since 1990 starting from a cleaning and water technician, flooring and upholstery restoration, department supervisor to project management.
Bill worked in the production side of restoration until 1995, and then moved into the role as project manager, bringing his training and experience forward to succeed in the cross-functional environment of meeting demands of this industry. He has dedicated himself to offering relevant oversight and management techniques, dealing with client relations,  and being well-versed in various aspects of project management from inception to completion.
His training includes water damage restoration, fire and smoke restoration, multiple training courses for management and safety, Advanced Xactimate and Symbility estimating Training.

Dan started his restoration career as a Site Supervisor with ServiceMaster in 2021. Working closely with a high-volume Project Manager through two catastrophic losses, he gained substantial knowledge working through the full project cycle. He brings a unique blend of project coordination skills and previous hands-on career experience. Dan began his career as a concrete form worker, amassing over 12 years of experience in the construction industry, including work in large commercial concrete forming, residential forming, commercial framing, new residential construction, interior finishing, and custom framing decks. In his early years in the work force, Dan also worked evenings and weekends as a bartender, which helped him learn to communicate, connect, and understand people from all walks of life. He is skilled in effective communication and collaboration – always eager to drive successful project outcomes.

Nicole worked for 15 years in software project management, specifically developing safety management systems for the construction industry. She also operated her own renovation company for five years, gaining valuable experience in design, estimating and project management, as well as hands-on experience in multiple areas, including roofing, siding and painting.

Nicole has worked as an estimator within the restoration industry since 2012. She primarily utilizes Xactimate software and has earned her Level 1 and Level 2 certification. She is also certified in Odor Control Management, Advanced Confined Spaces and has Level 2 First Aid training.

Nicole joined ServiceMaster in 2011 and works with the Project Managers to complete job scopes and estimates in accordance with the insurer's guidelines.

Hardy is an optimistic and enthusiastic sales professional with over 25 years experience in retail, foodservice, and the hospitality industry. Over the past decade Hardy has fostered a career in senior living, managing retirement communities in both the independent and assisted living sector. Hardy is highly relational and skilled at developing the right action plan for each of his client’s he is passionate and dedicated in helping clients achieve mutually beneficial goals.

Throughout his career, Hardy has earned the trust of several companies and key accounts and maintained strong client relationships that generate repeat business. He attributes his success to his ability to listen to clients and put their needs first.

Joining the ServiceMaster Restore of the Fraser Valley team in 2023, Hardy is excited to bring his management skills to his role in Business Development and forging relationships with local insurance industry professionals.
